I hate that New York, “my city”, is changing while I am not there, to see it with my own eyes. But you have heard me whining about this topic since about a year now. Yet, I am managing to somehow keep up as I am following so many New York Instagram Accounts that it sometimes feels like I am still there. Here are 3 food trends of summer 2016 I spotted on Instagram. Instant happiness due to yummi pictures included.

1. Rainbow Bagels

I found this video lately and it made my day. Aren’t those the absolutely coolest bagels you have ever seen? Of course they are made in Brooklyn – to be exact, made in my old neighborhood. They are sold by the bakery The Bagel Store in the Bedford Avenue in Brookln. (Grey L line; stop = Bedford Avenue)

2. Egloo

Egloos are waffles that originated in Hong Kong. A waffle in a cone that is topped with different candy, such as oreos and M&Ms. Can this be anything else than amazing? Also, it is perfectly instagrameable. They are sold in Chinatown at 60 Mulberry St (Canel Street stop).

Frozen Sweet

Summer time is ice cream time. Frozen Sweet is located in Chinatown as well and sells rolled ice cream that looks so damn pretty. (184 Mulberry St)

  6. Hi,HMTL5 support is great but i like to see Theora too. I think its not about that much about the quality/performance of the codec but more about that everyone can use/implement it.I mean whats the point in replacing a proprietary plugin with a proprietary codec? Thats not what the initial idea behind has been.
